Honda :(

Last Friday I was involved in an accident.  A girl didn't stop while I was crossing an intersection and she t-boned me.  Luckily I have an amazing car!!  It held up in the accident.  The girl hit me so hard that car spun around 180 degrees.  My side airs and seat air bag deployed.  (picture below).  I lost hearing in my left ear for a bit, hand shoulder, back, and neck pain, and had a concussion.  

The Honda is getting repaired now.  It should be fixed my August 29th! :)

Happy Birthday Mikayla Rose!

Sunday was Mikayla's 3rd birthday!! :)  We drove up to Maryland to see our sweet little niece on her birthday.  She had an amazing birthday.  Filled with a lot of family, good food, fun, and of course great presents!

We got Mikayla a Disney Princess tent, a Go Fishing game (complete with a fishing pole! :), and an Elephafun game.  She loved her gifts! Below is a picture of her with her new tent.  She loved her tent so much, she figured she would raise up her dress! <3

My sister and brother-in-law asked us while we were up there if we would be Makynna's God parents!!  We were so excited.  It's such an honor to be our niece's God parents.  She is so adorable.  We are so blessed to be able to be such an important part of her life! <3

Honeymoon!

In my last post I forgot to post honeymoon pictures!  Too many things to talk about in the past couple of months!  So much is going on.  :)  Like I said before, our honeymoon was amazing.  We went and visited the Ruins in Chichen Itza, walked around the cities, visited the Ruins of Tulum, swam with sea turtles, swam in the Cenote Ik Kill, had beach days, and pool days.  It was an amazing experience.  One that we will always remember!

Wedding Post (a little late) and more!

Hello!  Sorry, we have been a little absent on the blog forum! :(  We have been super busy settling in to our routine after coming back from the Honeymoon.  We went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico and it was absolutely gorgeous!  As soon as we got back we both had to catch up on school work and get back into the swing of things.  Below are some pictures of our wedding day!

Evan made the Dean's list!! :)  He just finished his summer session and will be starting the fall semester August 20th.  He is on track to graduate June 2013.  I finished my first summer session with my MBA and I'm getting ready to wrap up my second summer session in 2 weeks.  I start my fall semester on August 20th as well.  Even with everything that is going on in our lives, we definitely still have a lot of down time to just enjoy each other's company.  :)

Our little niece, Mikayla (aka Kayla Bugg!) will be 3 on Sunday!!  I can't believe she is already going to be 3 years old!!   Makyanna will be 4 months old on Thursday.  I miss them so bad.  We are leaving today to drive up to Maryland to see them.

Strawberry pickin'!

It's been a crazy couple of weeks!  We have been so busy with weekend prepping, work, and school.  Hard to believe that we are down to 13 days until our big day!!  Evan finished class this semester with 3 A's and 1 B.  His overall GPA is now a 3.833.  Sooo proud of him!  He has done amazingly well!!  I start class on May 14th for my MBA.  I already have some pre-work to do before class starts so I have been working on that.  Evan starts class again on May 16th.  


This weekend we went to the strawberry patch and picked strawberries!  They were great!!  Then we had some fresh strawberry ice cream.  Their ice cream is the best ice cream ever! :)  We took the kayak out after that.  It was a great weekend!  I included some pictures of our weekend below.
