Go Seahawks!!

Last night me and Evan went to a UNCW basketball game.  It was definitely a lot of fun.  It was great cheering for the school I graduated from and the school that Evan will be going to in a couple of years!! :)  We lost by a couple of points, but it was still a good game and a lot of fun.  I attached some pictures...

Less than 4 months...

We officially have less than 4 months until our wedding dayyyy... :)   So here is some wedding news... 


We are really excited!  We are going to be sending out invitations in the next couple of weeks for the wedding and the reception.  We also ordered rehearsal dinner invitations.  So they will be going out to the wedding party, parents, and grandparents after the wedding invitations.  We decided to have an "alcohol free" rehearsal dinner because we will be having our Priest at our rehearsal dinner.  We absolutely adore our Priest.  :)  


Evan is planning is bachelor party right now - so he is excited about that.  Me and one of my bridesmaids (and maybe another friend) are going to Charleston, SC for my bachelorette party in April.  We are both really excited to spend some time with our friends and have a good time.

A day in the life...

Sorry we haven't had a chance to post on here lately.  Things have been a little crazy around the house lately.  Evan is busy with class.  He got an A on his first exam in his Criminal Justice class.  Work has been hectic for me.  Busy as always. Last weekend we went to Maryland for my daddy's birthday and Heather's baby shower.  This weekend we plan on having a chill weekend.  We are getting the invitations ready to be mailed out in a couple of weeks.  We ordered rehearsal dinner invitations as well!  The wedding is in 4 months.  We are really excited!  Counting down the days until May!  

In our down time we play with our pups.  We love our boys... Below is a picture of Evan wrestling with Kosar, while Bentley chews on one of Kosar's bones under the coffee table.  

Evan's first day in college... Full time!!

Today was a BIG day for my Evanroo!! :)  Today was Evan's first day of college, full time.  He says that his classes weren't too bad today.  That his computer class is a little boring and the teacher teaches straight from the book.  Doesn't think he is going to like that class too much.  The good thing is that it is a 100 level class and it's an easy class.  His criminalistics teacher was an infantry Marine, so they have something in common!  He thinks that he is going to like that class.  And his English and History classes were okay, they were just long.  All in all, he had a long first day.  But he feels a lot better with the first day behind him and he knows what to expect.  


We have his classes worked out and he should be graduating with his Associates in June 2013 and transferring to UNCW in the Fall of 2013 to get his bachelors.  We are both really excited about our future!! :)  Something that can't be taken away from you, an education!  I'm so proud of him for getting his degrees! <3

2012!!

Happy New Year!!  2012 brings a lot of good things for us! :)  We have a very busy and exciting year!  In March we are getting a new niece, Makynna.  And our wedding in May.  We will be busy the first half of the year planning for our special day.  Mikayla will be turning 3 in July so we will be heading up to Maryland for her birthday party and we are planning to make another trip to New York as well.  We will be going to my parents house this year for Thanksgiving... It will definitely be a big Thanksgiving now having 2 nieces!  (Makynna being 8 months and Mikayla being 3!)
