May 19th!!

We've picked our official wedding date!!  It's May 19, 2012.  We are super excited!!  We have our Marriage Prep class on October 8th.  We checked out a reception hall this weekend and booked it - so we have our church, DJ, and reception booked!  :)

NYC Engagement! :)

We are back from New York City... And we had an amazing time at the show!  It was great!!  So much fun!  We loved it.  Then we took a pedal car to Central Park.  Evan took me on a gondola ride through Central park and proposed.  Definitely a fairly tale proposal.  I was completely surprised!  We had an amazing hotel room over looking where the twin towers used to stand.  They are now turning them into fountains and a garden.  It was a gorgeous view.  Everything was just perfect!  

Mikayla Rose is 2!!

We are up in Maryland now and today my beautiful niece/God daughter is 2 today!!  I can't believe it!  It's crazy how time flies!!  I loved her before she was even born.  I can remember the very first time I felt her kick my hand through my sister's stomach.  I will always remember holding her for the very first time.  How much love filled my heart!  I would do anything for my niece.  She truly is my world.  And today my special little niece, my God daughter is two!  Me and Evan got her a princess bike!  So fitting for such a princess.  My sister put her on the bike at Toys R Us to make sure she fit on it before we got it.  Here is a picture...

Ahh - Evan's New Truck!!

Evan just got a new truck!  It's a 2008, Ford F150 FX2.  It's super pretty.  We both love it.  It's the sport edition.  Still didn't stop Evan from looking at me and saying, "that's a good looking family truck..."  He's so cute... He melts my heart.

Beach Bums :)

Life is good in Wilmington!  Today we were beach bums!  Evan spent a lot of time in the water.  I went out in the water once, but mostly I sat on the beach and read my book.  It was a gorgeous day and the water was actually nice!  <3


We love living at the beach... Beautiful sky, beautiful waves, and just a beautiful day!

Movie Night!!

I had to babysit Addison all day today.  I took her to the aquarium at Fort Fisher.  It was a lot of fun!! :)  Evan got new blinds for the living room and the bedroom.  (Thanks Kosar!)  Kosar decided to chew them up a couple of weeks ago.  While Evan was out he picked up some movies at RedBox for us to have a movie date night!  The best nights!! :)  He texted me the picture below.  Tomorrow we are going to the beach and having a beach day with some friends.  I'll try to remember to bring my phone or camera and take some pictures!! <3

It's great living at the beach! <3  Evan took me out to Rita's last night and we ate our Rita's on the beach.  It was a beautiful night! The moon was gorgeous and the waves were beautiful! It was so peaceful and relaxing.  We love our little life! <3

14 days...

We've had a great weekend! :)  Yesterday was a raining/storming day.  So we decided to have a movie day.   We did get a chance to take the pups to the park before the rain came in though!  :)  Today we went to church. And then got done a lot of yard work.  We also picked out some new blinds for the living room.

When Bentley was younger, whenever he would hear another dog bark he would bark/howl back.  So Kosar started picking up on it too.  Here is a video of the Kosar and Bentley howling in the kitchen... We sure do love our pups!  <3

We love our Doberman! Oh my do we ever love love love him!!! Every day he does something to astonish us! He watches everything that we do and copies it. I gave him a piece of corn on the cob to see what he would do... He started eating it like a person... pulling the kernels off with his teeth and eating them.  Evan snapped a picture as I was feeding him...

We spent our day relaxing and spending time together.  Evan also had to get some homework done and of course I helped him out! :)  We are going over to Frankie and Mary's house later this evening to grill out.  We've had a great weekend!!

Beautiful Life

Yay for Saturday!  We love our weekends!  We went and got some ice cream and then we took the pups to the park again today.  It was another hot day and the pups (of course) went swimming!!  I didn't have any pockets so I don't have any pictures... :(
