Memorial Day Weekend

It's been a great weekend so far... Full of relaxing and hanging out together!! :)  Saturday we were supposed to go to a cook out, but it rained.  So we hung out and watched a couple of movies.  We went to church today and then took the dogs to the park.  Evan and Frankie are leaving are going out tonight to go fishing... And I'm taking my Veteran out to dinner tomorrow evening to Memorial Day.

Sunday....

60 days.... Here we come NYC!!

The count down is on!!  In t-minus 60 days... We will be taking the train from my parents house in Maryland to New York City to see Lion King on Broadway!! I'm sooo excited!!  I can't wait!  Everything is better on Broadway!! :)  We are staying in a hotel there for the night and taking the train back to my parents house the next day. 

 I went to New York with Stephanie a couple of years ago and saw the Little Mermaid... the Lion King was sold out.  Then me and my Momma went again and saw Wicked, again the Lion King was sold out.  Evan bought these tickets 3 months in advance! I love New York... And I love their shows.  We are both super excited!!  :)

It's been an okay week so far.  Evan got put on different meds for his migraines... Hopefully these work for him!  I'm happy that his doctor finally listened to him though! He's doing well in school - He has A's in both classes so far.  Everything is same old same old with me... Here are some pictures of our little family... <3

Fridayyyyy!!!!

It's Friday!!!  :)  Evan is busy warming up the grill right now.  We are having steaks tonight for dinner.  We are having a spring cleaning for the house this weekend - sounds fun right? 

We are also driving up to Jacksonville tomorrow for a Memorial service for a woman I work with's husband.  He recently passed away after battling with cancer.  I ask that you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.  She is truly and amazing person. 

On Sunday we have church and we are going to try to take the dogs to the park - weather permitting!  We might even hit up the beach this weekend!!  We love living in Wilmington!!

It's been a long day...

Today was a long day for me and Evan... Evan worked on homework all day today. He's taking a Math class and an English class this Summer session. I had a meeting in Myrtle Beach today, then worked out of that office. Had a long drive home through traffic... Is it bedtime yet?? :-)

March 11, 2010 cuddle time

My how time has changed... Over a year ago... Cuddle time on the couch!! :)  Evan doesn't even have a full sleeve!

Our first blog!!

Hello All!  We decided to start writing a blog to keep in touch with family and friends.  We figured everyone that didn't have facebook would appreciate a blog! :)  


This past weekend was a good weekend for us! We went to the shooting range.  Evan did great... as always! :)  He taught me how to shoot his gun as well.  Then we had a potluck with his RCIA team.  And we had church Sunday.  Evan starts school tomorrow!  So I'm sure he will be busy for the rest of the summer...
